Last Real Estate of Origin, New Zealand claimed the top prize with 2,498 appraisals, while as a group we recorded a crazy 8,700 appraisals. The top agent was the unstoppable Damian Portaro of Ray White Mildura who logged 161 appraisals.
This Real Estate of Origin, we’re aiming high with a goal of 10,000 appraisals across Australia and New Zealand. Powered by NurtureCloud, the group’s cutting edge proptech platform which uses machine learning, data automation and market intelligence to help agents generate leads and improve the overall performance of their real estate businesses.
Three times per year we host Real Estate of Origin, our international call-a-thon. Ray White Head of Performance and Recognition Bianca Denham said the intention is simple, more agents making more calls, connecting with more customers, booking more appraisals.
“We know that conducting appraisals is the most important activity that our agents can do, so coordinating these events is our part in assisting our members in driving growth in their businesses,” she said.
“The program has grown over time, and last month we saw our twelfth event taking the group over 80,000 appraisals generated on these days. We are
now seeing states host big events, bringing whole offices into a central location to turn up the heat on the competition.
“After each event, we see a spike in listing numbers, but we are now starting to track the longer term effects of conducting these events as some of the appraisals conducted this month may not come to the market for six to twelve months. “We know that once an agent has been into a home they are four times more likely to list that property when it does eventually come to the market. In these days of digital disruptors, it's never been more important for our members to get face to face with their customers.
“Getting into the property and sharing our up-to-the-minute data insights via Ray White Now provides so much value to potential sellers and we have heard many stories from our members of sellers deciding to come to the market sooner than anticipated once they are furnished with the facts.”
The next Real Estate of Origin is on Tuesday, 17 October.
