More than 200 guests attended the annual Ray White Rural and Livestock awards in Brisbane to celebrate the achievements of the top offices and individuals throughout the network.
Ray White Rural and Livestock managing director Stephen Nell (pictured below) welcomed the group to the awards night, following a day of networking and learning at the Rural Muster.
“Awards nights are a time to recognise some of the remarkable results our members have achieved throughout the year - and let me say, some of them are truly remarkable,” he said.
“It’s a time to celebrate but above all else, it is a time to reflect on the year that has passed and to reset and set your targets for what the current year is going to be.
“It gives me great pleasure to welcome our new businesses and business owners that joined us in the last financial year.
“As you know, our company finds itself in the position of being a market leader in Australia for rural and lifestyle property. While that is something for us to be proud of there is a responsibility that goes with it. Not just to stay there, but to provide our clients with the best result, everytime.
“And that every transaction is one that we are proud of.”
A recognition that is received and not awarded is the Outstanding Contribution, which went to Bill and Georgia Seeney of Ray White Rural Longreach and Barcaldine.
“The rest of the awards tonight are determined by results and numbers, but this award is in recognition of commitment to the overall business of Ray White Rural and Livestock, not just their own business,” Mr Nell said
“It takes into account loyalty, tenure and trust amongst our members.
“The commitment that Bill and Georgia have shown to not only their own success but to the overall success of other members and our whole community and group is quite frankly humbling.
“They have been a beacon for Ray White Rural and Livestock in western Queensland for years. They are always available to lend a hand for our members and participate in our events whenever they can.
“Bill and Georgia are enormously popular and genuinely lovely people and I am certain that there is not a person in this room who would not proudly refer clients to their offices at Longreach and Barcaldine.”

Not only did Ms Pain assist with fundraising and events in her local area but also by getting other rural members involved across Queensland and New South Wales.
