Ray White Stocker Preston brings auctions to south-west WA
Leading Western Australian office Ray White Stocker Preston have transacted more than $6.59 million at their recent auction extravaganza event.
Selling eight of the 12 lots with five sold under the hammer at the event, Ray White Stocker Preston CEO and director Mike Tucker is confident they can create the foundation for a strong auction culture in the region.
“The event was a tremendous success, not only for the group but for the south-west as a whole,” Mr Tucker said.
“The momentum of the current market perfectly aligns with the auction process to benefit both sellers and buyers.
“The public feedback has been extremely positive, with buyers feeling they have a fair chance to secure a property in the south-west, and from sellers that achieved fantastic sales results on the day off the back of the competition created at the extravaganza.”
The top under the hammer sale of the day was 30 Reynolds St, West Busselton (pictured above) which sold for $1.05 million through agent Jason Cooper, while 36A and 36B Derek St, West Busselton both sold for $980,000 each to the same investor buyer through fellow agent Boyd Reilly. The auction event attracted local buyers, those coming from northern WA and even flying in from interstate.
Ray White Western Australia CEO and auctioneer Mark Whiteman said he was thrilled to see the group of offices embrace Ray White’s reputation as competition creators.
“Ray White has a long history of auctioneering and as the leading auction real estate group in Australia we know that auctions are the best way to create competition and ensure a transparent sale,” Mr Whiteman said.
“Ray White Stocker Preston’s auction event was a huge success in an area that isn’t hugely auction focused. It shows that no matter the market, the auction method can and will achieve great results anywhere when the agents understand and work the process professionally.”
Ray White Stocker Preston's group of offices span the south-west of WA in four beautiful locations including Busselton, Margaret River, Augusta and Dunsborough.
