Try to travel with carry on only, as it saves delays at airports and your possible risk of lost luggage, and honestly checking in luggage just burns time which these days is really valuable. Worst case you forget something or get sick of wearing the same outfits, you can always go shopping.

Favourite destination

Our favourite destination in Australia would definitely be Orpheus Island off the coast of Townsville. If you were looking to leave Australia we really loved skiing in Zermatt - it was epic.

Just book it in and book somewhere hot so you can go during winter and get an extra summer.

I was born in Croatia so it’s a special place for me but Hawaii is probably my favourite place to travel. I’ve been there six times, it’s where I proposed to my wife Danielle.

Travel tip

Invest time to plan visits to your favourite restaurants and make internal travel bookings prior to avoid any disappointment on arrival.

Italy and Paris, I love them both!

Make sure you do whatever you can to get and stay on local time. Have a think ahead where you’re going to end up and sleep at the start of the flight or the end of the flight. And take your local medicine - Codral cold and flu, Nurofen and Panadol because you often can’t get it in other countries or you’re not sure what you’re going to get.

Favourite destination

I’ve been very fortunate to have gone to many places that are amazingly beautiful so I can’t choose. If you’re going to lay on the beach and look for rays of sun, it's a strong tie between Maui and Capri. And if I’m going to be in a big city, it’s hard to go past New York. Looking for snow and the mountain, you can’t beat Aspen.
